We care about the range of emotions and questions students of all ages may be experiencing in this uncertain and unprecedented time of the Covid-19 pandemic and school closures. The change in routines and feelings of separation from peers, educators and other important caregivers may cause distress. However, this time offers an opportunity to strengthen our resilience and pay greater attention to our well-being.

Vital information about Vaccines

Vaccination is the best way to protect your child against many dangerous diseases. In Canada, vaccines prevent illnesses such as diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio, Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), rotavirus, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, pneumococcal and meningococcal diseases, and human papillomavirus virus (HPV). Influenza (flu) vaccine is also recommended each year for children older than 6 months.
